In September 2020, then-candidate Joe Biden shared an image of Kyle Rittenhouse in a video and falsely linked him to white supremacists.

“When I saw that I was shocked, I was angry,” Kyle’s mother, Wendy Rittenhouse, responded. “President Biden don’t know my son whatsoever, and he’s not a White supremacist,” she continued.

“He’s not a racist. And [Biden] did that for the votes,” she said.

At the time, Biden said, “There’s no other way to put it. The President of the United States refused to disavow white supremacists on the debate stage last night,” referring to a question that Trump was asked about Kyle Rittenhouse.

After being acquitted of all charges and found not guilty of murder, Kyle is finally able to respond directly to Biden.

“It’s actual malice,” Rittenhouse says. “Defaming my character for him to say something like that.”

Rittenhouse continued, “It’s actually quite hysterical how nobody can go back and look at the facts of the case.”

“‘He crossed state lines,’ false. ‘He’s a white supremacist,’ false,” Rittenhouse said.

“None of that is true. And the lies that they can just get away with spreading is just sickening. And it’s a disgrace to this country,” he added.

Here’s the tweet from Biden:

Fox News’ Tucker Carlson asked if he was planning on holding “liars to account” who smeared him.

Rittenhouse responded, “I have really good lawyers who are taking care of that right now.”

“So, I’m hoping one day there will be some, there’ll be accountability for their actions that they did,” Rittenhouse said.

“Okay, so you’re intent on not, you’re not gonna let that go?” Carlson asked.

“Like I said, really good lawyers are handling that,” Rittenhouse said.

President Donald Trump had a much different reaction than Biden.

“We’re looking at all of it,” Trump responded at the time. “That was an interesting situation. You saw the same tape as I saw,” Trump said.

“He was trying to get away from them, I guess, it looks like, and he fell,” Trump said about Rittenhouse.

“And then they very violently attacked him, and it was something that we’re looking at right now, and it’s under investigation,” Trump said.

“But I guess he was in very big trouble,” Trump added. “He would’ve been — he probably would’ve been killed, but it’s under, it’s under investigation.”

Trump was proven right as the jury has found that Kyle Rittenhouse is not guilty on all charges.

The five charges against Rittenhouse included first-degree reckless homicide, first-degree recklessly endangering safety, first-degree recklessly endangering safety, first-degree intentional homicide, and attempted first-degree intentional homicide.

The verdict is read shortly after the 10-minute mark in this video below. WATCH:
