Elon Musk Makes One Major Promise – Explains Exactly How He Will ‘Increase Truth’ in Twitter’s Algorithm

Twitter has been widely condemned for censoring, suspending, and banning individuals for political speech that they don’t agree with.

For example, just 19 days before the 2020 presidential election, President Donald Trump’s official reelection campaign account on Twitter was suspended for writing, “Joe Biden is a liar who has been ripping off our country for years” while linking to the NY Post exposé on Joe and Hunter Biden, which was factual.

Elon Musk, who purchased the company for $44 billion, has promised to make Twitter’s algorithm open source in order to increase trust.

Radical leftists have been operating in secrecy and behind closed doors to wrongfully censor and shadow-ban individuals for political speech. Following Musk’s takeover of Twitter, conservatives suddenly saw massive spikes in Twitter followers for conservatives.

Donald Trump Jr. led the way in questioning the giant spike, which saw him gain 87,296 new followers by Tuesday and another 119,022 by Wednesday morning. “While I’m awesome and totally deserving of 87,000 new followers a day it seems that someone took the shackles off my account,” Trump Jr. said.

Conservative radio host Dana Loesch gained 22,163 followers. Tucker Carlson gained more than 141,000. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene saw her followers grow by more than 130,000. Podcast host Joe Rogan’s follower count exploded by nearly 135,000 and Texas Senator Ted Cruz gained more than 112,000.

Despite these facts, Melber went on to say, “Trump, by the way today is claiming that he won’t even return to Twitter if the ban were lifted but few take what Donald Trump says seriously on that score. So, what is happening here? This is far bigger than Trump or Elon Musk. They are symptoms of the world we are living in where technology has outpaced any of our ability to deal with it.”

Melber expressed his anxieties about how one person can own “all of Twitter.”

“If you own all of Twitter or Facebook or what have you, you don’t have to explain yourself,” he complained.

“Elon Musk says this is all to help people because he is just a free speech, philosophically clear open minded helper, a world helper, if you will,” he added. “Is that true? Should you take him at his word?” Watch the clip below:

In October 2020, Twitter locked the New York Post out of its account following the outlet’s publication of a smoking gun report on Hunter Biden’s laptop.

The left-wing company also locked the accounts of numerous high-profile Twitter users who attempted to post the link. Musk weighed in on the issue of Twitter suspending the NY Post just months before the election over the story, which has since been authenticated as truthful.

Musk attacked Vijaya Gadde who is considered “the top censorship advocate at Twitter” and famously gaslit the world on Joe Rogan’s podcast and censored the Hunter Biden laptop story. Gadde is unhappy about Musk’s takeover.

“Suspending the Twitter account of a major news organization for publishing a truthful story was obviously incredibly inappropriate,” Musk responded. Take a look:
