Fox Corporation lost $930 million in market value after terminating Tucker Carlson and ending his show. The stock plummeted 5 percent and ended the day closer to 4 percent.

This comes after the network also lost a staggering $787.5 million in a lawsuit settlement with Dominion Voting Systems. This is the largest media payout in history.

A reporter from The Daily Mail tracked down Carlson at his $5.5 million home in Boca Grande, Florida. Carlson was videotaped while driving a golf cart with his wife.

When asked about “parting ways” with Fox News, Carlson joked, “Retirement is going great so far.”

“I haven’t eaten dinner with my wife on a weeknight in seven years,” Carlson said while driving to dinner with his wife.

When asked about his future plans, Carlson joked again, “Appetizers plus entree.”

“Tucker Carlson laughing,” political commentator Benny Johnson said. “With his wife of +30 years & 4 kids. Tucker is still happy. Tucker wins.”

Inside sources told Mediaite that Tucker Carlson’s departure from Fox News was not voluntary despite the company’s statement that they “have agreed to part ways.”

Pulling in millions of viewers, Carlson was regularly ranked as the number one show on cable news. It’s widely speculated that the decision comes from Fox News founder Rupert Murdoch and his son who now serves as CEO of Fox.

Fox News will air a different show at 8 pm/ET and rotate different Fox News personalities until a host is named.
