Fashion Icon Kate Moss To Testify For Ex Johnny Depp After Amber Heard Mentions Her Name

Some people have argued the defamation trial between Johnny Depp and ex-wife Amber Heard is a “waste of time” and a “distraction” from real issues, such as the corruption and criminal activity allegedly carried out by Joe Biden, Hunter Biden, and Hillary Clinton.

Others have been glued to the live broadcast as the disturbing details unfold and expert witnesses testify before the jury. Depp is currently suing his ex-wife Amber Heard for defamation over domestic violence allegations he claims significantly damaged his Hollywood career.

The trial appears to be reaching a climactic point as model Kate Moss is expected to testify on behalf of ex-boyfriend and actor Johnny Depp.

Moss was not allowed or intended to testify in the case until after Heard mentioned Moss while testifying about an alleged incident in 2015. After Heard mentioned Moss, Depp’s legal team was spotted “fist-pumping” as they seem to clearly want Moss to testify.

Heard has suggested that Depp was abusive towards his ex-girlfriend, Kate Moss. During her testimony, Heard explains that she hit Depp during an incident in 2015 because “I just, in my head, instantly think of Kate Moss and stairs, and I swung at him.”

Now Moss will have an opportunity to set the record straight about whether Depp has a history of being an abusive person as Heard claims.

The 48-year-old British fashion icon “will testify via video link on Wednesday in the Fairfax, Virginia, courtroom,” according to the New York Post.

Moss reportedly dated Depp from 1994 to 1997. She was not slated to testify in the case until after Heard mentioned Moss while testifying about an alleged incident in 2015.

Moss and Depp dated for four years and were briefly engaged before break up in 1997. In September 1994, Depp was arrested and charged with criminal mischief at New York’s Mark Hotel for allegedly trashing his hotel room. Police reported they found Depp “in a state of possible intoxication” and Moss uninjured.

“Amber mentioned an ex of Johnny’s that clearly she felt was not supportive of him, which couldn’t be further from the truth,” a source told the Post following Heard’s testimony.

Fox News reported that Moss and Depp’s relationship had a “rocky start.”

“The pair’s romance got off to a rocky start with Depp getting arrested for trashing the Mark Hotel during a fight with Moss in 1994,” the report said, adding, “The charges were dropped, but the actor had to pay $10,000 in damages. The two never spoke publicly about the incident.”

The model told Vanity Fair in 2012 “that after their split she missed him and there were ‘years and years of crying,’” Fox noted.

The pair are reportedly still “good friends.”
