Trump Hilariously Destroys DeSantis’ Botched 2024 Announcement

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is off to a rocky start as Elon Musk’s Twitter platform was overwhelmed and filled with technical difficulties during his presidential campaign announcement.

“DeSaster,” Donald Trump Jr. hilariously said, combining the governor’s last name with “disaster.”

“Failure to launch,” Trump Jr.’s fiancé and political commentator Kimberly Guilfoyle responded.

Former Trump aid Steve Bannon said the DeSantis’ campaign launch was a “historic screw up.”

“This is the most embarrassing thing that has ever happened to a presidential candidate and it’s not close. Just hold a rally,” David Marcus said.

“Absolutely brutal start to Ron DeSantis’ campaign,” Ryan Fournier said.

“DeSantis is making JEB! look high energy right now,” Donald Trump Jr. added.

“On day one of his campaign, Ron DeSantis has crashed and burned,” MAGA Inc. spokesperson Karoline Leavitt said.

Rep. Lance Gooden of Texas said, “Ron DeSantis: crashing poll numbers and crashing Twitter spaces.”

After significant speculation, DeSantis is officially running for president in 2024. Born in Jacksonville, Florida, DeSantis graduated from Yale University in 2001. He graduated from Harvard Law School in 2005.

After law school, DeSantis served in the United States Navy from 2004 to 2010. He was deployed to Iraq in 2007 and 2008, where he served as a legal advisor to SEAL Team One.

DeSantis left the Navy in 2010 and began a career in law. He worked as a federal prosecutor in the Middle District of Florida from 2010 to 2012.

In 2012, DeSantis was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives. He served in Congress for six years, during which time he became a founding member of the Freedom Caucus. DeSantis has proven himself to be a strong leader and he’s very popular in Florida, where he currently serves as the state’s 46 governor.

As governor, DeSantis has focused on issues such as education, healthcare, and the environment. He has also been a vocal critic of President Joe Biden and the Biden administration. DeSantis is expected to file paperwork with the Federal Election Commission and officially launch his campaign.

In 2022, Elon Musk endorsed DeSantis for president. “My preference for the 2024 presidency is for someone sensible and centrist,” Musk said. “I had hoped that would the case for the Biden administration, but have been disappointed so far,” Musk added. When asked online what candidate he leaning toward for the 2024 presidential election, Musk said, “DeSantis.”
