Influencer Plummets To Death While Snapping Selfie

Hong Kong Instagram star Sofia Cheung, 32, tragically died after she slipped while snapping a selfie at a waterfall, according to Fox News. The incident occurred during a trip to Ha Pak Lai park with friends around 11 a.m.

The influencer reportedly decided to take selfies at the edge of a waterfall. She apparently lost her footing and fell into the 16-foot pool below. Cheung’s friends called emergency services. She was pronounced dead on arrival to the hospital. Cheung’s last Instagram imaged showed a bombshell sitting in the surf while holding a boogie board. The caption read, “Better Days are coming. They are called: Saturday and Sunday.”

The haunting photo has since been inundated with condolences, with one bereaved fan writing, “RIP don’t wanna believe this happened to you.”

Another lamented, “thought better days are coming when Saturday and Sunday? will gonna miss your chat every day. I love you always. rest in peace my pretty sofi.”

The video initially appeared on TikTok, but was taken down. In another video upload on Twitter, one fan says, “He was not yelling and we were there to witness what went down. He was all adrenaline. He was on STRAIGHT adrenaline from performing,” they wrote. “He wasn’t mad at Hailey and he wasn’t yelling at her. I hate how he’s always painted as the bad guy when he’s the furthest thing from it.” Another Twitter user wrote that Bieber “was in the best mood and was telling her a story but ofc internet lames love their lil scenarios.”
