After US Troops Were Ordered Not to Leave Kabul Airport on Rescue Missions, British Troops Come to Rescue for WaPo Team in Afghanistan

Fox News’ Jeanine Pirro notes that it’s “official” that the U.S. has fallen “from grace as the world’s superpower.”

Due to incompetence and inaction by Biden, British troops were needed to come to the rescue of Washington Post reporter Susannah George and her colleagues in Afghanistan.

Reporters required evacuation following the botch withdrawal of U.S. forces. Any remaining U.S. forces were desperately needed and order to not leave Kabul airport. The airport and U.S. troops have been under fire, at least twice, according to Reuters.

Fox News’ Jeanine Pirro said, “Mark this day as the day the United States of America officially fell from grace as the world’s superpower.”

“We were warned you were inept,” Pirro said of Biden. “We knew in our hearts you were. You consistently have had the worst foreign policy strategy and diplomatic responses in recent history.”

She concluded, “The truth is, Mr. President, you should not only be impeached as commander-in-chief, you should be court-martialed.”

The Washington Post’s Afghan staff were evacuated by UK troops after they approached the Brits and asked for help in fleeing the Taliban, Biz Pac Review reports.

“The British were more than happy to help save their lives. They transported the media personnel to Kabul’s Hamid Karzai Airport via armored cars driven by private security guards,” the report added.

Colonel Richard Kemp, who was previously in charge of all British military operations in Afghanistan, echoed Pirro’s comments.

In an interview with Fox News host Mark Levin, Kemp said, “I don’t say this lightly and I’ve never said it about anybody else — any other leader in this position. People have been talking about impeaching President Biden,” Kemp commented. “I don’t believe President Biden should be impeached.”

“He’s the commander-in-chief of the U.S. Armed Forces who’s just essentially surrendered to the Taliban,” he contended.

“He shouldn’t be impeached. He should be court-martialed for betraying the United States of America and the United States Armed Forces,”, Kemp concluded.

Roads to the airport are being guarded by UK service personnel against the Taliban and other terrorist forces during evacuation procedures. They are using them to get as many people to the gates of the airport as possible. The UK’s elite Special Air Service (SAS) has been deployed to rescue Britons who are trapped in Afghanistan but they are basically helping anyone they can find.

George’s adventure belies President Biden’s assertion that anyone with an American passport would be allowed to pass through checkpoints. She stated that security surrounding the airport was “crumbling.” She also reported that her Afghan co-worker Tassal and his young daughter were beaten by Taliban fighters while they waited on the civilian side of the airport to catch a flight that never arrived.

“I will never forget how they beat my small daughter,” Tassal told George, showing her a dark blue bruise on his daughter’s side. “They will never change. My country is gone forever.”

On the day that the Washington Post team was scheduled to depart, British troops arrived where she was staying at a security compound. They were there to evacuate a larger group. George asked the British paratroopers to help escort their team to the airport. The Americans weren’t coming and they needed the security to make it there safely.

“Initially, the men were cautious about helping us,” she stated. “We weren’t part of their evacuation, and the officer said they needed sign-off from the US Embassy. But after a few phone calls, they agreed to wave Tassal, another Washington Post employee, and their families through the Taliban checkpoint.”

“I can let your guys through, but ma’am, if you leave them here, it’s just going to put them in more danger,” the soldier told George.
