Two refugees rescued from Afghanistan and brought the U.S. in the wake of Joe Biden’s polarizing withdrawal have been charged with raping a child and strangling a woman, according to The Daily Wire.
Twenty year old Bahrullah Noori is facing federal charges in relation to using force to coerce a minor to participate in a sexual act. A statement issued from the Department of Justice read: “The indictment alleges that the victims had not attained the age of 16 years and were at least four years younger than the defendant.”
The second Afghan refugee that was recently charged, allegedly assaulted his wife by attempting to suffocate her.
The DOJ statement deliberately pointed out that the two cases did not share a connection to one another.
Both Afghan refugees are scheduled to be transported from Dane County Jail to be arraigned on the same morning beofre U.S. Magistrate Judge Stephen L. Crocker, according to the statement from the DOJ.
If Noori is convicted of his use of force to induce sex crimes involving a minor, he is facing a 30 year to life sentence in a federal facility. The maximum amount of time that he will serve for his other violations is 15 years.
Imaad’s strangulation case puts him at risk of a 10 year sentence, if convicted.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Fort McCoy Police Department conducted a joint investigation on both incidents.
Despite abandoning as many as 100 American citizens in Afghanistan, Joe Biden continues to claim that he is making sure that the incoming refugees are being vetted.
Throughout the chaos during the withdrawal, many refugees stormed the runways and split from their families in order to board one of the flights to America in pursuit of a citizenship.
Rogue flights were described as landing on American runways without any type of manifest listing who was onboard.
The normal vetting process usually takes months or years, but under theses circumstances it is reported that the vetting is being down in hours.
“American officials have said the refugees are being thoroughly vetted, with the authorities feeding fingerprints, portraits and biographical information into federal databases to weed out potential risks.” wrote the New York Times.
It was reported that Mr. Mayorkas stated that the Defense Department was responsible for sending hundreds of biometric screening machines to 30 different countries.
A group of documents titled “2021 Afghanistan Repatriation Mission”, and because they have been ruled as “unclassified”, it has been learned that the minimum standard for information is not being collected on incoming refugees.
Some flight manifests have reportedly been missing or not completed by the either officials on the ground in Afghanistan, or during the flight to America.
