NBA coach Doc Rivers of the Philadelphia 76ers has a long NBA career and has started his 20th year as a head coach. He loves what he does and has made millions of dollars doing it.

Rivers is coming under fire for recent anti-America comments. He said, “When you hear ‘America first,’ that scares me because I’m a black man, and that’s not including me. We have this separation of race now, of pitting races against each other.”

Some believe that America first means America being first, not Doc rivers.

Rivers said, “Teaching American history is under assault right now. And it’s not Black history or teaching about slavery, it’s American history.”

It is reported that Rivers want people indoctrinated with his leftist ideology and is taking action.

Rivers has taken his team on trips and made stops at the Old Slave Mart Museum and the Avery Institute of Afro-American History and Culture.

Rviers said, “And so I was amazed. The first thing that I was taught the other day was how many players, and not only players, coaches, came up to me and said, ‘Wow, I never was taught that in my history class.’”
