White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany criticized mainstream media for switching stances regarding the Hunter Biden scandal, according to the New York Post.

“Interesting pre-election and post-election coverage too on the Hunter Biden scandal which was not covered at all by many outlets in the lead-up to the election.”

“On October 15, you had a New York Times headline that said, ‘Trump said to be warned that he was being given Russian disinformation over Hunter Biden.'”

“Now, December 10, just a few months later, your Times headline is ‘Investigation of Hunter Biden is likely to hang over Biden as he takes office.'”

“Really interesting turn of events and good for those who covered what was the story all along and not Russian disinformation,” McEnany said.

Hunter Biden disclosed that he is under federal investigation for possible tax fraud.

Many Media outlets disregarded the scandal claiming it was “Russian misinformation.”

Politico said, “We don’t want to waste our time on stories that are not really stories” but “pure distractions,” dismissing the news as “a politically driven event.”

From The New York Post:

A diamond given to Hunter Biden by a since-vanished Chinese energy tycoon, also reported on by The Post, is said to be part of the ongoing tax fraud probe.

McEnany also criticized major news organizations like the Times and networks ABC, NBC and MSNBC for refusing to cover a damning Axios report that revealed that Congressman Eric Swalwell (D-Calif.) had a years-long relationship with a suspected Chinese spy.

Democrats like House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) have stood behind the lawmaker, even amid fears that Swalwell, who serves on the House Intelligence Committee, may have been compromised.
