Despite being fully vaccinated and boosted, multiple elected Democrats continue to test positive for coronavirus.
Taking to Twitter, Democrat Rep Jan Schakowsky of Illinois announced, “As I mentioned in my weekly video, my husband Bob tested positive for COVID Friday.”
“Yesterday I was having a bit of fever and feeling ill,” she continued.
“After several negative tests in the days before, I tested positive for COVID last night.”
“We are both vaccinated and received the booster,” she concluded.

We got tested when we felt something was off, and now we can prevent exposure to our family and loved ones. I implore you to do the same before holiday gatherings this week and next. Get tested if you feel sick or have been around someone who tests positive.

Democrat Senator Elizabeth Warren of Massassachuttes said, “I regularly test for COVID & while I tested negative earlier this week, today I tested positive with a breakthrough case.”
“Thankfully, I am only experiencing mild symptoms & am grateful for the protection provided against serious illness that comes from being vaccinated & boosted.”

Democrat Senator Booker also tested positive:
I learned today that I tested positive for COVID-19 after first feeling symptoms on Saturday. My symptoms are relatively mild. I’m beyond grateful to have received two doses of vaccine and, more recently, a booster – I’m certain that without them I would be doing much worse.
