Podcast host Joe Rogan and his guest speculated about the possibility of the Democratic Party replacing President Biden with California Gov. Gavin Newsom on the 2024 presidential ticket due to concerns about Biden’s mental acuity.
Rogan suggested that Biden might be forced to step down, with Newsom potentially being set up as his replacement.
They discussed Biden’s controversies, including his honorary position at the University of Pennsylvania, where he earned a significant amount without many responsibilities.
Rogan’s guest, Chris Williamson said, “Basically, you can’t prosecute this guy because he’s non compos mentis, but you can let him run for the President of the United States in November… so that’s the that’s the world that we’ve managed to get into.”
Rogan asked, “Don’t you think that that’s a ruse, him running for president?”
Williamson answered, “I think they’re gonna get rid of him, I think they’re gonna move him out, they’re gonna force him to step down. That’s what I think.”
Rogan said, “If I had to guess, and it’s just speculation, I’d say they’re setting up Gavin Newsom for it.”
Rogan also criticized Biden’s public speaking abilities and mocked his cue card notes.
Rogan added, “It’s amazing… he just can’t keep a thought in his head when he starts talking about things, he forgets what he’s talking about all the time and goes ‘Well whatever,’ he just says, ‘Well, whatever,’ and just drifts off.”
Their discussion highlighted many doubts about Biden’s fitness for the presidency.
