Dylan Mulvaney, a transgender social media influencer, has come under fire for releasing a new song titled “Days of Girlhood.”

The song has received over 30,000 YouTube views but more attention on TikTok, laden with critical comments regarding the music quality.

“Calling women of all ages / girls like me gotta learn the basics,” Mulvaney sings.

“These are the days / these are the days / these are the days of girlhood,” Mulvaney sings.

Conservatives came after Mulvaney for the audacity to portray girlhood despite being biologically male.

“Remarkable that the left has reduced ‘being a woman’ to lipstick, high heels and a skirt,” one X user wrote.

“And he’s still a dude…,” another wrote.

Mulvaney “is once again facing backlash from conservatives after the release of her new song, ‘Days of Girlhood,’ while she pledged that all proceeds from the music video will be donated to The Trevor Project, a nonprofit dedicated to LGBTQ+ youth suicide prevention,” Newsweek wrote.

Pundits such as Liz Wheeler argued Mulvaney knows nothing of girlhood and is inaccurately portraying being a woman.

“The craziest part of Dylan Mulvaney’s new music video is even after hormones and surgery, he still looks like a total dude. Just an unhealthy one wearing girl clothes,” Wheeler said.

“Dylan Mulvaney is not a woman and knows nothing about girlhood,” she added. “He’s a man. Period.”
