Former President Donald Trump has partnered with country singer Lee Greenwood to release a new patriotic Bible edition called “God Bless the U.S.A. Bible”. It includes copies of founding documents like the Constitution and Declaration of Independence.

In announcing the Bible, Trump said Christianity and religion are under attack in America and must be protected and brought back.

“It’s a very sad thing that’s happening in our country. But we’re going to get it turned around,” Trump said. “Religion and Christianity are the biggest things missing from this country and I truly believe that we need to bring them back and we have to bring them back fast. I think it’s one of the biggest problems we have. That’s why our country is going haywire — we’ve lost religion in this country.”

He said Christians are “under siege” and the media and left are trying to silence and censor pro-God views.

“Christians are under siege,” Trump said, adding, “We love God. And we have to protect anything that is pro-God. We must defend God in the public square and not allow the media or the left wing groups to silence, censor, or discriminate against us. We have to bring Christianity back into our lives and what will be again a great nation.”

Trump argued America’s Judeo-Christian values established by the founding fathers are now under greater attack than ever.

He added, “Our founding fathers did a tremendous thing when they built America on Judeo-Christian values. Now that foundation is under attack perhaps as never before.”

The Bible features the King James version and patriotic inserts but is not affiliated with Trump’s 2024 campaign.

Lee Greenwood, who often performs “God Bless the U.S.A.” at Trump rallies, collaborated with Trump on the project.
