‘Nope! Gotta Move On!’ Fox News Anchor Slams Guest Over Comparison of Trump and Biden’s COVID-19 Coverage

Fox News host Harris Faulkner wasn’t playing games as she shut down a guest who tried to argue that the media coverage of Joe Biden’s COVID-19 infection was balanced compared to President Donald Trump’s case.

Liberal political commentator Laura Fink said, “It would be really hard to argue that they’re being easy on Biden because the critique of Biden is day in and day out. So it’s really, it is difficult to argue that somehow the media are going easy on him.”

🚨 POLL: Is the media hypocritical?
YES 👍 or NO 👎

“This was a much more deadly disease,” Fink continued. “We didn’t have vaccines. And the White House, the Trump White House, was putting out conflicting information. You know, when did he get diagnosed with the virus? What treatments were, was he receiving? What was his condition as after he went to Walter Reed?”

As the debate went on, Fink tried to squeeze in another comment by saying, “And let me say this.”

But Faulkner quickly shot her down saying, “Nope! Gotta move on!” You can watch the clip below.

🚨 POLL: Is the media hypocritical?
YES 👍 or NO 👎

Back in 2020, when Trump tested positive for COVID-19, he was harshly criticized by the media for various subtle actions, such as not wearing a mask.

Meanwhile, Biden is doing the very same thing, but the media won’t criticize a Democrat in the White House.

Lara Trump responded,”You’re not suggesting that the media is somehow playing favorites with Joe Biden over Donald Trump, are you?”

“Of course, that is exactly what’s happening,” she continued. “It’s amazing to watch the difference in coverage of the exact same location, the balcony of the White House, where Donald Trump stood and took off his mask.”

Lara continued, “Joe Biden is there maskless as well. It’s almost a 180-degree change in coverage when you look at the way the media has handled this.”

“This is exactly the reason, and you can add it to the growing list, that people in America have very, very low trust in the media at this point because they pick and choose the way they cover things based on their own political affiliations,” she said.

“It’s kind of interesting, though, because you see Joe Biden there, COVID–positive outside, no mask on.”

“How many times have we seen him actually put his mask on to go outside when he doesn’t have COVID? It’s very confusing, I think, to Americans.”

Biden has tested positive for COVID-19 and is experiencing mild symptoms, according to a statement from White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre.

Biden is “fully vaccinated and twice boosted,” Jean-Pierre confirmed. “He has begun taking Paxlovid,” she added. “Consistent with CDC guidelines, he will isolate at the White House and will continue to carry out all of his duties fully during that time.”

“He has been in contact with members of the White House staff by phone this morning, and will participate in his planned meetings at the White House this morning via phone and Zoom from the residence.”

“Consistent with White House protocol for positive COVID cases, which goes above and beyond CDC guidance, he will continue to work in isolation until he tests negative,” Jean-Pierre continued. “Once he tests negative, he will return to in-person work.”

Former White House physician Ronny Jackson, who served under both Barack Obama and Donald Trump, has recently spoken out about concerns of Biden’s declining mental state.

“Something’s seriously wrong with Biden,” Jackson said. “And it’s only going to get worse. It’s past the point of embarrassment. He’s lost. He’s confused. He can barely put a coherent sentence together.”

Jackson has publicly demanded that Biden undergoes a cognitive exam and release the results.

Following these questions about Biden’s mental capacity to serve, former president Barack Obama sent a private email to Jackson that reprimanded him over the comments. Obama went on to express his “disappointment” over “the cheap shot you took at Joe Biden,” former White House physician Ronny Jackson explained.
