The Daily Wire reported that “Dog the Bounty Hunter” located another clue, verifying that he is closing in on murder suspect, Brian Laundrie.

Duane “Dog” Chapman tweeted that while searching a park in Florida, he discovered a discarded can of Monster Energy Ultra Gold at a “fresh campsite”.

The clues that Dog has been following took him to Shell Island, which is located in southwest Florida near Hall Bay, according to Fox News.

The bounty hunter is accompanied by a Fox News Digital reporter that described the energy drink can as not having any faded colors or rust.

The search party did not find any other evidence of Laundrie in the area.

Laundrie’s influencer girlfriend, Gabby Petito, was found dead near where the couple was last seen camping. After returning to his parents Florida without her, Laundrie vanished.

Laundrie may have purchased a phone on the day he allegedly visited his parents and disappeared.

Deseret News reported that the “FBI agents visited an AT&T store near Laundrie’s family home in North Port, Florida, to look at any surveillance footage.”

Steven Bertolino, the Laundrie family’s attorney verified that a phone was purchased that day “But, he said, the phone is reportedly the same one that the FBI already has in its possession.”

“Bertolino told the New York Post that Laundrie left his home in North Port, Florida, without his wallet or his cellphone on the day he disappeared”, according the report by Deseret News.

“He also told the New York Post that Laundrie’s parents were worried Laundrie might harm himself when he left the home.” added the outlet.

Laundrie was initially named a “person of interest” while authorities searched for Gabby Petito. Eventually, the FBI conducted a search of his family’s home and classified as a “crime scene”.

On Sept 23, the FBI issued an arrest warrant for Laundrie in connection to the murder of Petito.

“Dog the Bounty Hunter” stated that he was told by an informant that Laundrie’s parents visited a park that was 75 miles north of the Laundrie residence after Petito had gone missing. Fox News verified the tip by discovering documentation showing Roberta Laundrie checking into the park that “Dog” was told about.

“Dog” was informed that Brian and his parents checked into Fort De Soto Park twice while Petito was missing. From Sept 1-3 and again on Sept 6-8, the three family members were camping. Fox news was able verify that the family was at the park from Sept 6-8, before Petito’s mother reported her missing on Sept 11.

The Laundrie’s attorney has refuted the claims of the bounty hunter, saying; “I will no longer give that dog credibility or dignify his false claims with the time of my reply.”

He did verify to local news outlets the bounty hunter’s claim that; “the family camped out on Sept. 6 and 7 and that ‘they all left the park.’”
