Dems Fuming After Spotting What Was on GOP Rep’s Mask on House Floor: ‘Let’s Go Brandon!’

Liberals are fuming over the phrase “Let’s Go Brandon,” claiming it’s a vulgar slogan.

Senator Ted Cruz of Texas has openly used the phrased on camera while speaking with supporters.

The phrase quickly gained popularly when an NBC reporter claimed fans were cheering on NASCAR driver, Brandon Brown, when he won the Xfinity race at Talladega.

In reality, fans weren’t loudly chanting “Let’s go Brandon,” but rather “F*** Joe Biden.”

Rep. Jeff Duncan of South Carolina proudly wore his anti-Biden mask on the House floor containing the phrase “Let’s Go Brandon.”

Politico reporter Olivia Beavers wrote, “Spotted at House votes: GOP Rep. Jeff Duncan of SC wearing a mask with a phrase that Republicans are using in place of F*** Joe Biden.”

Democratic Party chairwoman Jody Gaulin responded, “Not only does Jeff Duncan not deliver for the people of the third district—I cannot think of a thing he has truly done.”

“He now sports a vulgar slogan on his mask and walks off the floor!” she added.

“The hypocrisy of the Faith and Freedom BBQ is exposed!” the Democrat said.

More from Daily Wire:

Though the phrase “Let’s go Brandon” has become pretty widespread, a White House official recently told The Washington Post he has “never heard” of the saying. The Daily Wire reported:

The White House is claiming they are unfamiliar with anti-Joe Biden chants, such as the blunt and ever-popular “F*** Joe Biden” chant, and the more recent “Let’s Go Brandon” meme.

“Administration officials sought to downplay the phenomenon, and at least one claimed to be unfamiliar with the ‘Let’s go Brandon’ chant or its cruder cousin, though they are now chanted everywhere from football stadiums to concert arenas to local bars,” The Washington Post reported Saturday.

White House spokesman Andrew Bates claimed, “I had never heard of that chant until you explained it to me.”

Mocking the anti-Biden sentiment as fringe, Bates added, “I guess I’m not spending enough time on 8chan or whatever.”
