Judge Andrew Wilkinson was shot and killed outside his home in Maryland.

Police believe he was targeted due to an ongoing custody battle.

The suspect, 49-year-old Pedro Argote, is still at large and considered armed and dangerous. (Trending: US Forces Attacked By Suicide Drones)

Wilkinson had granted custody to the mother in the case involving Argote.

This incident highlights the gun control measures in Maryland, which include an assault weapons ban and other regulations.

Sheriff Brian K. Albert said, “The victim was suffering from what appeared to be gunshot wounds.”

“He was transported to Meritus Medical Center, where he later succumbed to his injuries.”

Maryland has an “assault weapons” ban, a “high capacity” magazine ban, universal background checks, a red flag law, “ghost gun” regulations, a permit-to-purchase for handguns, and other controls that Democrats at the federal level want for the entire nation.
