The NFL Players Association (NFLPA) has partnered with Saber Interactive to release a video game called “Wild Card Football,” featuring former quarterback and outspoken BLM suppoter Colin Kaepernick as the face of the game.
The NFL is not officially involved, and the game does not include official NFL teams.
The trailer focuses on quarterbacks, and Kaepernick appears last in the ad. (Poll: Should Athletes Kneel During National Anthem? VOTE)
The game has an authentic roster of NFL stars, but Kaepernick, who hasn’t played competitive football in seven years, is prominently featured.
The game’s tagline is “Football for everyone,” but it is not free and costs $40, raising questions about accessibility.
“This over-the-top, pick-up-and-play video game features an authentic roster of hundreds of pro football superstars, including Colin Kaepernick, Jalen Hurts, Patrick Mahomes, Justin Jefferson, T.J. Watt, Joey Bosa, Ja’Marr Chase, Aaron Donald and many more,” it reads.

Kaepernick recently made a desperate appeal to the New York Jets, urging them to consider him for their practice squad.
The plea was conveyed in a two-page letter released by his friend, Grammy Award-winning rapper J. Cole.
Acknowledging the Jets’ recent setback with Aaron Rodgers and the lack of depth behind Zach Wilson, Kaepernick wrote, “I’m writing, of course, in response to the unfortunate loss of Aaron Rodgers.” (Trending: Biden Breaks Texas Town’s All-Time Record)
NEW: Social justice warrior Colin Kaepernick, who once compared the NFL to slavery, is now begging the New York Jets to be on their practice squad.
Why would he want to be a ‘slave’ again?
In the letter, Kaepernick argued that he deserved a spot on the team.

“I would be honored and extremely grateful for the opportunity to come in and lead the practice squad,” he wrote. “I would do this with the sole mission of getting your defense ready each week.”
Kaepernick expressed his willingness to contribute by “getting a truer read on the more mobile/athletic/versatile quarterbacks” the team will face when in weeks 4, 5 and 6 (Mahomes, Wilson and Hurts).”
Kaepernick said “this would also allow you guys as an organization to see where I’m at football-wise.” (Trending: 8 Undeniable Facts About Joe Biden)
“Unlike many of the veteran QBs that have been named in the media, I’ve never retired or stopped training. My training schedule has remained the same for 6 years; Monday through Friday, 5am-8am training on the field and in the weight room.”
To strengthen his case, Kaepernick provided a list of references, including former coaches Jim Harbaugh and Chip Kelly, John Harbaugh (Jim’s brother and Ravens Head Coach), and Raiders Owner Mark Davis to “vouch for my character, work ethic and ability.”
