Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) has been called out by retired U.S. Army lieutenant colonel Geoffrey S. Corn after the “Squad” member accused Israel of war crimes in their retaliation against Hamas terrorists.

“I think for somebody in a position of a member of Congress, they bear an obligation to ensure that before they accuse soldiers and pilots of committing war crimes, that they understand what the law is that dictates that accusation,” Corn stated.

“The fact that civilian casualties are inflicted during combat operations does not prove the commission of war crimes.” (Trending: Chilling Update On Biden Bribery Scheme)

The twenty-plus year military veteran and law professor currently serves as an advisor to the Jewish Institute of National Security for America.

Corn pressed that while it’s acceptable to feel sorry for Palestinians, it’s another thing to accuse Israel of crimes they haven’t technically committed. (Trending: Biden Completely Botches Iconic American Quote)

The law expert went on to expose that AOC failed to address the reality that Hamas militants have sent over 8,000 rockets toward Israeli civilians.

“Every time one of those rockets is fired, it is a war crime because the law of war doesn’t focus on whether you kill civilians,” Corn expressed. “It focuses on the fact that you’re trying to kill civilians.”
