Judge Rules Trump Was ‘Wrong on the Law’, Rejects His Bid to Keep Tax Returns from Congress

Trump derangement syndrome continues to dominate the Left as they continue their obsession with investigating and attacking President Donald Trump.

The constant attacks perfectly illustrate the famous quote attributed to Plato which says, “No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth.”

An ongoing dispute over Trump’s tax returns has continued for almost 11 months even after Trump left office.

On Tuesday, a U.S. judge decided to allow a House of Representatives committee to obtain Trump’s tax returns.

Trump asked the court to block the House Ways and Means Committee from obtaining his tax returns, but this request was dismissed.

U.S. District Judge Trevor McFadden handed down the ruling. McFadden was actually nominated to serve as a federal judge by Trump on June 7, 2017.

McFadden claims that Trump was “wrong on the law” in seeking to block the House Ways and Means Committee from obtaining his tax returns.

McFadden said it was within the power of the committee’s chairman to publish the returns if he saw fit.

The ruling is on hold for 14 days to allow time for an appeal by Trump.

President Trump has sought to keep details of his wealth and the activities of his family company, the Trump Organization, private.

Other presidents over the past 40 years have released their tax returns.

In 2019, the committee sued to force disclosure of the tax returns.

Trump has responded in the past to the Left’s attempts to obtain his tax returns, calling it “prosecutorial misconduct” and “presidential harassment.”

Trump’s said he should have immunity from being forced to provide his tax returns and financial records to those looking to attack him for political purposes.

“This is all a political prosecution,” Trump explained.

He said, “I have to keep fighting” against “politically corrupt” courts.

“I won the Mueller Witch Hunt, and others, and now I have to keep fighting,” Trump said.
