Joe Biden’s shameless smile and smug gesture to a reporter is going viral.

The moment occurred as Biden was leaving the White House to tour damage from the deadly tornadoes that struck six states and killed over 100 people.

Confronted by a reporter, Biden was asked, “On 800,000 coronavirus deaths, do you have a statement on your responsibility?”

“And why haven’t you asked China to do more to be transparent on the origins?” the reporter asked.

Biden, who apparently doesn’t care, responded with a dismissive wave of his hand and a shocking grin.

The video has since gone viral on social media.

One person responded, “I realize this is a GOP video but I don’t understand why the question isn’t worth answering.”

In July of 2021, Democrats refused to declassify U.S. intel surrounding the origins of the COVID-19 virus.

This information has remained hidden from Americans despite suffering through a global pandemic that has crushed the U.S. economy.

The House of Representatives voted 216 to 207 to block consideration of a bill that would require the Director of National Intelligence to declassify information related to the origins of the Wuhan coronavirus pandemic.

More specifically, Americans want to receive information about any role China and the Wuhan Institute of Virology may have played in the outbreak of the pandemic.

So far, any speculation or questions on this issue are quickly censored by left-wing “fact-checkers” on social media who have expunged articles throughout 2020 about the possible role played by the Wuhan Institute of Virology in China.

Earlier this year in May, the U.S. Senate unanimously passed the COVID-19 Origin Act, which was introduced by Josh Hawley (R-MO) and Mike Braun (R-IN).

However, liberal Democrats won’t let the bill go any further.

More from Townhall:

Rep. Michael Burgess (R-TX) brought the COVID-19 Origin Act to the House floor for consideration with Reps. Brad Wenstrup (R-OH) and Darin LaHood (R-IL) explaining its importance shortly before Democrats voted down the measure Tuesday night.

“The best disinfectant is sunlight and that’s what we can provide today,” Wenstrup explained of the COVID-19 Origin Act. “The bill first establishes that we must identify the precise origins of COVID-19 because it is critical for preventing a similar pandemic in the future.”

“I cannot stress enough that this bill is not controversial by any means,” Wenstrup continued. “In fact, it passed the Senate in May with unanimous consent — not one senator objected. Not Senators Ted Cruz or Rand Paul, not Bernie Sanders or Elizabeth Warren. If those four members can get on board with this bill, should not we be able to do the same?”
