Republican Rep. Claudia Tenney of New York is pushing to impeach Joe Biden for “dereliction of duty.”

Biden, who is 80 years old, is the oldest president in U.S. history. Many Americans have speculated that he’s suffering from age-related dementia and should face impeachment under the 25th Amendment.

🚨 POLL: Should Biden be impeached?
YES 👍 or NO 👎

“Whether it is Joe Biden’s dereliction of duty at the Southern Border or his disastrous retreat in Afghanistan, I have called for Joe Biden to answer to the American people in Impeachment hearings,” Tenney said in a statement.

“I will not stand by while Biden and Pelosi trample on our constitution to push their far-left agenda,” she continued.

“I look forward to working with a Republican House Majority next Congress to impeach Biden and hold his administration accountable for their numerous failures.”

Tenney explained, “I see this guy as a talentless, career politician and completely derelict in his duty, which is why I’ve called for him to be impeached! One of the things about the Republicans that is kind of frustrating at times is, we don’t fight.”

“We have to fight every single day, right now. I stand up to the status quo in both parties, I have a core set of principles. Can we preserve this Republic? It is all on the line.”

“It’s not easy to fight the fight that patriots fight, but it’s worth it,” she said.

A UMass Amherst poll shows that nearly 70% of registered Republican voters want Congress to impeach Biden.

Pollster Tatishe Nteta said, “The decision to impeach a president was once viewed as a last resort to reign in a president who pushed or broke through the boundaries of our laws, values and ethics.”

“Today, impeachment is no longer a final option, but one of many weapons to be used in an era of rampant partisan polarization to gain an upper hand on one’s partisan opponents.”

“With a number of Republican members of Congress calling to impeach President Biden, the chorus will likely grow louder if and when the Republican Party takes control of the U.S. House in 2022.”

54% of Republicans say Biden will be impeached while 44% of all respondents believe he will be, according to the poll.

34% of all the poll’s respondents say Biden should be impeached.

The team behind the poll suggested that the upcoming midterm elections will be especially tight as both Republican and Democratic voters are expected to come out and vote in high numbers.
