Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Rep. Elissa Slotkin reportedly fears potential negative impact on her senate campaign if President Joe Biden leads the Democrats in the 2024 election.

This reflects broader concerns among Democrats about Biden’s ability to energize the base for down-ticket candidates.

“Rep. Elissa Slotkin (D-MI), who is running for the state’s open Senate seat, has expressed concern to allies that she may not be able to win her race if Biden is at the top of the ticket,” an inside source stated. (Trending: Devastating News For Hunter Biden After Defying Subpoena)

The Senate map appears to favor Republicans in 2024, with 34 seats up for reelection and Republicans needing to flip only two seats to control the Senate.

Slotkin’s spokesman, however, said she “looks forward to running with President Biden.”

“You know, job approval down, ratings generally down, most of the comparatives with Trump … not good,” Axelrod said.

“You know what I worry about … from a Biden standpoint is there are the kinds of things you get when people are starting to rationalize their votes — ‘Oh, look. They’re ready to fire Biden. That’s a problem,’” Axelrod added.

“And they just put out another photo op with the Bidenomics sign next to him. … It’s just unbelievable to me.”

Additionally, the House races are influenced by redistricting lawsuits, GOP fundraising, economic concerns, Biden’s approval ratings, and other factors.

There are warnings about Biden’s approval ratings and potential impact on voter sentiment.
