President Joe Biden’s declining popularity has led to numerous discussions regarding the possibility of him dropping out of the presidential race prior to the DNC convention.

Trump adviser Dick Morris suggested that Biden might run in the primary elections, collect delegates, and then withdraw, leading to a floor fight for the nomination.

YES 👍 or NO 👎

“They will keep them until a few days before the convention and then he would announce he’s not running, release his delegates, and there would be a floor fight for the nomination,” Morris said.

“But at least there wouldn’t be a long primary battle.”

The speculation has primarily been fueled by the President’s disastrously poor polling in recent weeks.

Notably, even an adviser to Barack Obama openly discussed the idea of Biden dropping out, citing concerns within the Democratic Party.

“It’s very late to change horses; a lot will happen in the next year that no one can predict & Biden’s team says his resolve to run is firm,” advisor David Axelrod said.

“Trump is a dangerous, unhinged demagogue whose brazen disdain for the rules, [norms], laws and institutions or democracy should be disqualifying,” Axelrod posted separately.

“But the stakes of miscalculation here are too dramatic to ignore.”

“Only @JoeBiden can make this decision,” he added. “If he continues to run, he will be the nominee of the Democratic Party. What he needs to decide is whether that is wise; whether it’s in HIS best interest or the country’s?”
