Rookie QB Praises ‘Lord and Savior Jesus Christ’ on National TV

Rookie NFL quarterback C.J. Stroud emphasized his faith in Jesus after leading the Houston Texans to a comeback win against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

In a post-game interview, Stroud credited his Lord and Savior for the victory and expressed his gratitude for the opportunities provided through faith.

“First and foremost man, I’ve got to give all glory and praise to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, man,” Stroud exclaimed. (Trending: Is It Time For Joe Biden To Drop Out Of 2024?)

“These last couple weeks, I’ve been up and down. I’ve been going through a lot on and off the field.”

“But when you give your life to the Lord, man, he gives you opportunities, and it’s what you do with it.”

“I do it for the glory of God, man.”

Stroud also acknowledged the contributions of his teammates and coaching staff to the win.

With 470 passing yards, Stroud broke the NFL single-game rookie record, further solidifying his impressive rookie season.

Additionally, Stroud has thrown 14 touchdown passes with only one interception.

The rookie went on to share his experiences of coping with his father’s incarceration following the game.
