A recent CBS News/YouGov poll found that less than a quarter of Americans believe they would be financially better off if President Joe Biden wins reelection.

The survey also indicates that Biden will face a tough reelection bid against likely opponent Donald Trump, with 45% of Americans saying they would be financially better off if Trump wins.

Additionally, the poll shows that many voters perceive Biden’s policies as benefiting wealthy Americans over the middle and working class. (Trending: Is It Time For Joe Biden To Drop Out Of 2024?)

“Only @JoeBiden can make this decision. If he continues to run, he will be the nominee of the Democratic Party. What he needs to decide is whether that is wise; whether it’s in HIS best interest or the country’s?” CNN political analyst David Axelrod wrote.

The survey sampled 2,636 U.S. adult residents and has a margin of error of ± 2.6 percent.
